Hen Mummies!!

Students had a first hand experience today with mummification! Our class mummified Cornish hens as part of our study of ancient Egypt. They helped prepare their little hen for the Afterlife! We'll check on the mummification process through the next couple months. Hopefully RA Chicken, King Cluck and their friends will pass the judgement of Horus, and be able to transition to the Kingdom of Osiris.
