March Book Reports /Informational Book

Students will choose an informational/nonfiction book for their March Book Report. Almost any subject that interests your child can work, with the exception of cookbooks or how-to books. The book report will be a questionnaire that focuses on main idea and details, and students will create a Concentration style game that will help them share their knowledge with classmates. Please encourage your child to choose a book that is 6th Grade appropriate. The book will hopefully challenge your child and teach them something new. Please be advised that, depending on the nature and style of the book, it is not expected that the book will be read "cover to cover". We will continue to talk about informational text structure in class.

The questionnaire is available in class, as well as the directions for the game.

This is due March 30th.
